Resumen:

Air quality has gained significant attention at the local, regional and worldwide level from science, policy makers and the general public. The negative effects of NOx, CO2, VOC and PM encountered in megacities, in addition to the identification of vehicles as one of the most important contributors for these type of emissions have become clear. In this talk, we will present simulation results of traffic emissions based on a modified version of the NaSch model of a single lane, this new version considers traffic-calming measures to reduce the speed of vehicles and improve traffic safety.
